Break a wall partly to open up kitchen

Hi there We own a 2 bedroom unit in Otahuhu. We would like to break a wall between a lounge area and the kitchen, to open the house up more. We needed someone to visit and let us know the possibilities and what options we have to improve the overall space, as well as difficulty/costs involved by going with each option. We would like to get this project started and finished as soon as possible as the house will be up for sale soon. There may need to be some electrical work done, as there are some power-points in the section of wall that needs to be taken out. This is up for negotiation. We have attached photos of the project.
