Job description

Plasterboard Installation
Papakura

We have an old house which had scrim on the walls of the hallway, which runs up the stairs and along the second floor as well. We've removed the scrim and need to install the plasterboard over the sarking and get it stopped too. There are a couple of other jobs that we figure should be done as well, seeing as the walls are exposed. We want to clean up the old electricity meter and set it into the wall, run some of the wires that are currently boxed on the outside of the wall in behind the sarking, and put insulation in the walls while we're at it. Where possible we'd like to help out with what we can as much as possible to keep the costs down, but we're struggling to find the time to get it done ourselves. Ideally we'd like the job done before the weekend of 31 August, so if you can't get to the job before then there's probably no point in applying. I'd estimate around 40-45sqm of plasterboard, but there are a few angles to work with on this job. We have some insulation that can be used but not sure if it will be enough. Would love it if you could come around this week (Mon 5th Aug) to scope the job and provide a rough quote. As you can see in the photos, we have some lovely wood paneling that we'd like to keep in its current condition - shouldn't need to be touched, but just a heads up! Thanks

Rob did a great job on what is a difficult house - lots of angles and complications. He was an excellent communicator and there were no delays. He kept us informed all the way so there were no surprises. He was really friendly and helpful with all our questions too. Thanks Rob!
