Gas outlet Bayonet Type

I'm in a retirement village and require a bayonet gas fitting for a portable gas heater Trouble is the existing gas pipe is in the hall and I need it to be accessible from the lounge, (thru the wall) I imagine both sides of the wall will be opened up to allow the bayonet to be fitted. There is also a double electric socket within 500 mm of the existing gas plug
