Plasterboard to cover old coal range

There was previously a wall over the coal range. We dismantled it to potentially expose the old coal range as a ‘feature’ however the coal range is in terrible condition and needs a lot of work to have it looking ‘aesthetic’ so we would like to cover it back up. Will need gib board over the area to fit in with exisiting gib walls. We can do the painting ourselves.
