This job was completed at short notice and for a cheap price, so I can’t complain too much. However the quality was lower than I expected. They said they could do this without a gib lifter, however I had to help them put the ceiling sheets up, and it was bloody hard work! They didn’t use the GibFix glue I had bought, and put in heaps of unnecessary screws in some wall sheets. They didn’t match up tapered edges. It was a bit strange, they worked quite slow, 11am-11pm for one room!

Tradesperson reply
"Is an old house we carry out cleaning and is really hard to find where the studs are that's why we used a lot of screw. Studs were not either 400 crs or 600 studs and noggins were not properly installed. There was a hole on the floor he never put a sign there to warn workers as a result my carpenter was step on this and half of his body went down but luckily he managed not to fall. The framing, the doors were not square nails on studs and it was very rough. Starting time was not 11 am."
