We are trying to repair a bedroom, but the walls have been wallpapered (at least 2x), then gib stopped over half stripped wallpaper, then painted over. Trying to strip back to wallboard to do a decent job, but seem to be fighting a losing battle. Thinking it may be better to just remove and replace the gib so looking for quotes. Ceiling is slightly higher than a normal house. We think it is a 1940’s house. Need done ASAP.
