On the 23rd June I noticed damage to the ceiling of one of my bedrooms which sits under the kitchen of an apartment above me. Involving the building manager, they got in touch with and accessed that apartment to find it was from a problem with the person's dishwasher plumbing. The problem was fixed and when that happened a fresh line of water appeared on the ceiling. Both these areas have now dried out but the damage can still be seen, especially from the initial leak. I was seeing mould spots appear but have managed to control this with mould remover. I would like to get a quote as soon as possible for repair costs and make a decision to get repair underway. Claim can be made under the Body Corporate household insurance however the excess is very high and I don't believe the repair should cost anywhere near that. If I was to make a claim I would need to have that to them before 23rd July which is why I would like to get onto this as soon as possible. I look forward to hearing from you.
