cockroach & ants problem in a recently renovated house

After three-month renovation work, we moved in this house in end Jan. In the past month we start seeing cockroaches (most of them are dead) in various sizes on 1/F floor. We have three bedrooms n a bathroom on the 1/F. On the G/F, there are occasional ants issues from the windows. On the 1/F, we re-use old carpet from previous owner after cleaning. On the G/F, we re-laid vinyl flooring. Before moving in, we hired cleaner to clean whole house n carpet.
