Bees in the roof (possibly)

We think we have bees in the roof. They are definitely bees, but we're not sure where/how they are nesting. Though we haven't spotted point of entry specifically, the "source" of lots of bees flying into kitchen windows seem to be from up there. And there can be quite a few in the vicinity. So, we need someone to investigate and remove them if they are there. (We're sympathetic to the need to take care of our bees, so if they can be re-homed, great. But, we do need them removed as one child in the house seems to have an allergic reaction to stings.)
