Destroy and remove rats

Rats arrived a few weeks ago. Came up through a pipe in the floor into the area behind the kick board to the pantry. I taped it off they broke through. I set mice traps. Heard horrible noises from there. Not mice. Rats. I've taped with steel wool. I got bait and bait stations from the local community group, laid Saturday. I hear them below. I need someone to remove the dead bodies and lay more bait, which I have. I have pets, cat and dog. Help
