Bird Nesting in Cavity of Dormer windows. Need to block cavity or deter #2

Have two dormer windows on the roof. The way they've been built left a gully between the roof and cavities at sides of the gully. Birds got into it and nest and attract more birds stay on the roof. Need builder / bird control to permanently block the cavity or apply detergent methodology to stop birds getting around.
