Wasp/bee removal or extermination

There’s a swarm of wasps/bees (am allergic so not getting close enough to identify) who have made a home inside a pipe in my houses wall (unsure what the pipe is but have permission from my landlady to bung it up after removal). Unsure if they can be removed but if not then some sort of fumigation? Need gone asap.
