Stealing’s in roof vent

We have a two stories home. Looks like starlings maybe are in the top story vent from our ensuite. Assume they need to be removed by accessing the nest and pushing it out from our ensuite bathroom roof, I’d say the duct is about two meters from bathroom fan/light to wall. The vent outlet is accessible above our deck, just high up. Will need a grate/cover after ached which I believe was damaged when we last had our home washed.
