Dead ants falling out of the ceiling for 8 weeks (location: Ellerslie)

At the end of September 2023, I put down Ant Poison liquid from Mitre 10 on the floor in small container. Lots of ants came for several days and ate the poison liquid. Since then I have had dead ants falling from the ceiling onto my dining room table. Some of the dead ants fall onto the lamp shad above the table, so they are definitely falling from the ceiling. Unfortunately the design of this part of the house has no roof cavity that can be accessed. The interior roof follows the height and line of the external roof. I want the dead ants to stop falling from the roof and I don't know how to get rid of them. I tried putting out more liquid ant poison but no ants come anymore over a two week period. What can be done about this? I know the photos of the ants themselves are not that great, but it is definitely ants that are falling down, although only some are complete dead ants and some are just parts. The rate at which they fall from the ceiling has not slowed down.
