IMPORTANT: It is preferrable that all aspects of this job, retaining wall, concrete driveways and paths, be carried out by one contractor. PLEASE do not respond unless you are able to do all aspects. And please state your ability to do so in a message when you initially respond. Thank you. Four parts to this large job: * Part 1 - Carport Driveway The existing concrete pad has cracked and slumped at the rear of the carport. We need the offending concrete to be removed and replaced with new. The area to be replaced is approx 16 m2 or 1.6 m3 assuming 100mm thick concrete(?). We will require reinforcing mesh and some steel rods to tie into the existing (and remaining) part of the block retaining wall. * Part 2 - Block Retaining Wall Part of the existing retaining wall is cracked and bowed and needs to be replaced. From the front corner by the steps to the existing “keystone wall” is 5.8m long by 1.4m high. The return corner by the steps will also need to be rebuilt and reinforced. * Part 3 - Concrete Path Area The concrete area along the front of the retaining wall up to the tin shed/ fence needs to be removed and replaced. The total area is approx --- or 1.1 m3 assuming 80mm thick concrete(?). * Part 4 - Concrete Drive/Pad on other side of property This area has numerous cracks and needs all the weeds removed. It is however still flat and not crumbling. We would like a professional opinion based on your industry experience, as to whether this area is still “fit for purpose” or if it needs to be replaced? If it needs replacing the area is approx 50 m2 or 5 m3 assuming 100mm thick concrete. Assume it will also need steel reinforcing mesh? We will arrange a site meeting with the selected contractors to go over the entire project and ensure fair and accurate pricing for all parties.

Norm certainly knows his craft well. All the work he carried out is of a high standard and will stand the test of time. He communicated with us through each step of the project, explaining what was being done and why. He and his crew were very easy to deal with. We are very happy with the finished product and happy to recommend Norm and his team.
