Revive the little old school house at Matapouri Bay
Job description
Our tired little 2 bedroom cottage (ex-school house) is in need of a good paint job. The outside has become weathered from the sun and wind and needs some well overdue protection from the harsh coastal environs. The cottage is a small single level cottage, approx 70m2. It is on a flat section on the main road with easy access for tradie vehicles. We want quality paint that will withstand the harsh coastal environment. It will need some prep work, we can wash the house down, but you will need to sand it back, fill small holes and replace some of the rusted xxx. Ideally, we would like the job completed before Christmas. Matapouri is about ~30km from Whangarei, about a 30min drive. The local store is 200m away and make really good coffee. The beach is 200m away and is a great way to enjoy yourself at the end of the day.

This job was never completed. Paid agreed deposit, work began, early prep stage was delegated to 2 inexperienced young men. Made little progress, then work stopped for Christmas break, and never restarted. Was happy to pay for hours worked, requested refund but no monies returned. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this tradesperson/company.
