We started painting our 1940's weather board bungalow but haven't been able to complete it. Some areas of the house need more coat's, front left windows needs to be stripped or sanded, there are areas that need to be gap filled between weather boards and other area's needing a patch up because of sanding errors. The exterior paint colour is resene silver chalice. We are also wanting to get the front garden concrete wall painted resene Stonehenge. Open to any suggestions to create a better finish (We painted the house using lumbersider but were told that a semigloss may be better). We are looking at getting the spouting replaced and a fascia cover installed so no need to worry about painting the fascia. Looking to it get done over the dry season.
