Pongakawa paint job

I'm about to strip wallpaper. Not sure if walls of the two sloping roofed bedrooms can be painted or will need a plaster. New windows are going in next week . Would love job completed in next few weeks as rooms need to be used mid Jan and I need to have it finished so can put up curtains by then.
