Finish plastering and paint

This job was started 1 Dec great, however its been a month now and with every excuse under the sun as to why it hasn't been finished, I'm not prepared to cancel all other trades who have been standing by again. I could paint myself however as I'm not a plasterer I don't know how paintable the surface is. New Gib bathroom, most of plastering done but needs to be finished? then sealed and painted. Small room. Photos attached with measurements.
