Exterior Roof painting - Semi Urgent

Job image

Job description

Interior Painting
Wellington

Hi, To give you some background - We have recently got someone to re-clad the side of our house. As part of that job we have had scaffolding installed, and have since discovered that the corrugated iron roof also needs a paint. Because the scaffolding is a large cost to install and maintain we thought we would see if there is any interest in someone painting the roof while the scaffolding is installed. This would mean ideally the job would be completed by the end of July / very early august. If you feel that for you to complete the job that scafolding is unnecessary then by all means we are open to this job being completed at a later date. To give you some specs on the job - you will need to scrub with metal brush / wool or other device to remove the exsisting paint - one side there is very little paint pressumably due to the sun. the other is mostly painted - wash down the roof surface - lay down a primer / rust remover coat - 2 coats of paint, with washes in between primer / coats if overnight. - if paint is left over then potentially a third coat on the sunny side of the house, the coast of which would need to be quoted as an additional cost so we can consider the benfit of doing so. - the total roof dimensions are 2.2m x 12m(on each side so times that by two) plus one small 1mx1m square section. -the angle of the roof is quite steep at around 90degrees. - see attached picture If you have any other questions that i havent already answered fire away. Cheers. Ryan

Easy going personality, proactive in getting in contact, great price - and helpful at providing suggestions on how we can do the job. Everything that you want when you know nothing about painting. Cheers, thanks guys. Looking forward to seeing the job finished. Job is now finished, we had some issues with the paint drying over the cold winter months, and Scott came back a couple of times to to fix the problem at no extra cost. We are pretty happy with the results. Cheers.
