I've lived in my present house for eleven years now, and had the hall re-papered soon after I moved in, as there were large tears in it. It was suggested that I have the living room re-papered as well but I've been quite happy with it ... until recently, when I've decided that perhaps it's time for new wallpaper. I would need special care taken with the corner where my desktop computer is, as if it's all disconnected I would struggle to connect it up properly again. And I do use the computer every day. The rest of the room isn't a problem, I'll move smaller items to another room and co-operate as best I can. And while the wallpaper hangers are here, could I ask for an extra job, since I imagine they'll have ladders/step ladders? The light bulbs in my kitchen, bathroom and hall are all the type that are inset into the ceiling (I forget the proper name) and they all need replacing - the kitchen, for instance, only has one that still works. The ceiling is too high for me to reach safely (I'm a stroke survivor) and in any case I don't have a step ladder. Thanks! I have little idea as to what the total cost is likely to be, and will be happy to see quotes.
