The previous owners of our house had it painted 6 to 8 years ago but the preparation was poor and some areas now need attention, mainly peeling paint on windows, rust spots from nails. There are also exterior gates to recoat and an interior large wooden window frame to prepare and paint ( includes small area of plastering ). We will look to do the whole exterior in the next 2 to 3 years but need the worst areas attended to now to protect the bare timber. We believe the house was constructed in the early 1960's and has cedar weatherboards. House has been painted in Resene products.

This turned into a longer and tougher job than we all expected, due to timber type and mistakes of past painters Andy had to have a couple of goes at some parts to get the paint finish right. We were very impressed that Andy kept going on the job, the preparation and finish was good, he was great at cleaning up and and he and his staff were pleasant to have around. We received great value and would recommend Andy to others and use him again.

Infuriating though, bubbles in paint are a pain, myself being a person who likes to do a long term paint -job. really wanted to strip the lot off on the bad sides of the house and re-do. Hope you are happy with the tidy-up for now....Regards..Andrew"
