Job description

Interior Painting
Waitakere

We have moved into a 1920's bungalow that has a distinct textured/stucco plaster finish to the walls. We would like this removed, and prepped ready for us to paint. However, we have since been informed that the best way to do this and have an adequate finish is to rip off the existing walls, re-gib, and then plaster. As opposed to plastering over the whole lot. Obviously we dont want to pull off the walls if we dont have to, but if it is the best option then we can work to that. Our aim is to be able to have a nice even finish to paint. At this stage we just want a idea of best way to prepare these walls, and a rough estimate of price. Our ceilings are 3m high. Lounge/dining is open plan and is approx 7m x 4m. There are two bedrooms at 3m x 3.5m. Sunroom is 3m x 3m but is mostly windows. Hallway is 1m x 3m. I will attach photos to give a better idea of layout and window placement, but at this we are just lookin for a rough idea of cost, and what our best option is to achieve our goal. We will be in touch with tradesmen who have given us a good idea of what to expect. Depending on the idea we get for the cost of this job we may be looking at starting in April this year. Many Thanks.
