We are looking for someone to paint walls, ceiling & windowsills etc for our house. There is some minor repair work to be done first (nail-pops, split seams etc). I'm not used to calculating the square metres for painting, but on the plans the area to be painted comes in at around 162m2. My calculation for the walls would be another 416m2, but that has no allowance for windows & doors. But it should give an indication of the size of the job.
