New wall paper

We had a leaking roof in our bedroom, which damaged our existing wall paper. We fixed the roof. We also had to replace the ceiling, in two areas, around 1 square meter each. We are not sure if it needs a bit of gib stopping? It is a very high ceiling- 6 m. We are considering replacing all the wall paper in the bedroom, landing, staircase and front entrance. We are not sure if some can be repainted, as some of the areas are already painted. Finishing date: Before the mid of August
