Farmhouse upgrade

The farmhouse is approx 100 years old, 220m2, with three gables - one at each end and on one side (photos). The house is weatherboard (good condition), with wooden joinery (which may need some tidying up in places). The windows are picture-framed and corners are boxed. It has a wrap-around verandah at the front and french doors and pergola on one side. The other side and back are just weatherboard and windows. The colours will remain the same. The job will require scaffolding for the gables. I have no fixed dates in mind but I need the job done this summer. The job does not include the roof or spouting. My wife and I are currently living in Rarotonga but I am in NZ for the next two weeks and can meet a contractor on-site. I would prefer a fixed price including materials but would consider an hourly rate plus materials if I was comfortable with the arrangement.
