Wallpaper and paint bathroom wall

Oops, I accidentally ripped old wallpaper off a 1970s bathroom wall. I need you to smoothe the surface and wallpaper two half-walls around the bath and window, about 4m2. Have new wallpaper ready to go (a tropical print with lemurs ;)). And other half-wall needs a repaint, probably only 1 - 2m2 (around cabinet, wall heater etc).
