Roof Repaint (Minor Rust Painting, Sealing and Top Coat?)

Job description

Concrete Tile Cleaning & Painting
Porirua

The roof of our 1970's house is needing some TLC - no sign of leaks, but while we have scaffolding in place (recently had double glazing installed) it'd be great to have it sealed and repainted. Or just repainted!! Some minor surface corrosion is visible, which I'm hoping can simply be treated with a "rust eater" type product. And then I'm wondering whether to have it sealed then painted, or just painted. Already had a quote to replace, and don't fancy that approach. Would prefer something to keep roof going for at least another 5-10 years. The company suggesting replacement doesn't do repairs, and admitted that the steel in place is potentially thicker than they'd replace with anyway!). They noted a few small patches to fix, but nothing major. Scaffolding is installed right now, and I'm having to pay a weekly charge. So would be great to have a solution in place soon.

Tommy was prompt to attend site and quote for the work, and was quick to send the boys in to start work too. Flexible with number of people at site, based on work to be done and weather forecast (given this was roof painting in springtime). Not the cheapest quote received, but I am a happy customer. Matt did most of the painting (with Tommy and others at various times), and he was great! I highly recommend Red River Painting!
