Make-A-Wish for Max

Hi there, My name is Linda, I am a Wish Coordinator at Make-A-Wish New Zealand. Make-A-Wish is a children’s charity that grants wishes to children aged 3 to 17 with life threatening medical conditions and I have a special wish coming up for young Max. He is 8 years old with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and his one true wish is for a bedroom makeover. Max has gone through all his treatment while in his current room, but would now like a fresh start and a more grown up boys room. We are looking to paint or perhaps wallpaper his room, needing some shelves put in the room for his Lego and photo album (he is a budding photographer) and potential help to assemble furniture (i.e. the bunk bed and desk). I think a visit to the room would be best to get an idea of what Max would like and to also see the walls as they have been painted over wallpaper and is not in great order.
