Roof painting

1. Repainting the roof of the above property. Roof to be cleaned in accordance with the paint manufacturers recommendations. Any area where the exiting coating has broken down is to be cleaned to bare metal, some form of rust treatment product applied and all coatings applied to manufacturer’s specification. Paint to be water based if compatible with the existing coating. Quotation to include all costs of access. 2. Second level guttering only. Clean gutters/spouting and apply some form of agreed gutter protection to exclude the ingress of debris and to prevent birds gaining access for nesting. Install some form of device/product to stop birds alighting on guttering edges (eg taut wire). 3. Inspect and advise as to any structural damage or defect that requires repair. The cost of such repairs would be the subject of a separate quotation. 4. Re-instate edging strips where these have become detached. These are plastic strips that edge the polystyrene construction blocks and need to be glued back in place. This is minor work that is opportune while access is available.
