Current ceilings plain gib with many recessed downlights. Wish to replace, in order to remove downlights, and, if possible, create a ceiling which is higher in the centre than the side. i.e. from top of wall make the ceiling slope towards centre on an angle, then have all the centre at one height. Sorry, cannot remember the name of the style, but is very common in new builds, usually with no scotias. Effect I am trying to create is added height. If too expensive, will need just total replacement of ceilings, removal of all downlights, replaster and paint, replacement of scotias, Many thanks.
