Job description
Looking for a self employed painter, who takes a pride in his work, to carry out a rapid light prep & recoat of a 2 story weatherboard house. It was repainted using a scaffold tower by myself 2 years ago but a mistake meant that some of the paint in the corners was Resene semi gloss and the majority and correct paint is Resene Sonyx low sheen. It still generally looks very good...except in bright sunlight. A small amount of bubbling will need sanding back, spot priming and undercoating. We are about to sell the home & need to get it looking really sharp to achieve the best price, so have already had all the exterior washed and now looking to quickly tidy up my mistake which occurred to just the front of the house. At more than 71, its time for me to let a younger person do the job, normally I would do it myself. I have this time got professional scaffolding being erected and the prep work needs to start on Thursday 11th August or soon after, weather dependent . Scaffold is being erected early this week. Would ideally suit a local Upper Hutt painter who has some immediate spare capacity available, in order to assist us. Hourly rate by negotiation.

Thomas did a great job for us in a short timeframe for us, to prep and paint in order to tidy up the front of our house ready for sale. He communicated well and was polite, respectful & tidy - highly recommended.
