Exterior House Painting
Job description
Paint supplied. Brushes, rollers, trays and other tools eg sander also available. 2 bedroom bungalow in need of the right prep (cleaning and sanding) before applying 2-3 coats of Resene exterior paint. All eves, trims, windows also need exterior painting. This house had a double level roof hence part of the wall is inaccessible by ladder and may require painter to stand on lower roof whilst painting (see red arrow on pic).

Eventually i was happy with Tere's work. He initially comes across as genuine, down to earth, which was the main reason i picked him out of the 3 quotes i obtained from Builderscrack. The journey of reaching the endpoint of works was however torturous. Prep work was inadequate but rectified, messy cleanup, and not able to handle clients wishes without feeling frustrated himself or making the client feel like they are pestering.

"As always I endeavor to work in with any customer. I always try to respond to a clients requests and expectations.
In this case I waterblasted the pathways no charge. I painted a concrete deck no charge. When the client was questioned the cost of some building work on a window on a invoice from the builder I paid half the cost to try to help out. I'm not surprised by the feedback. I know in good conscience I tried to meet the customers needs."
