Hi I am the director of a Christian Charity and we are restoring a 120 year old 6 bedroom villa right on the beach in Rawhiti in the Bay of Islands. That is to say, would you be open to coming and painting the inside of the house (we’d provide all the materials) and in return we’d give you free time at the Lodge for your holidays or a staff retreat, or whatever. Or you could have a week at the Lodge as a prize for your employee of the year? Or for a staff bonding time away? It’s an absolutely fabulous place for this kind of thing. We just had a gib stopper from Whangarei and his apprentice do all the stopping, and he and his family are now using the Lodge as their weekend holiday home. Families who stay here over Christmas are paying $3-4k per week to be here so it's a very desirable property.
