Lining paper to be hung on plastered walls
Job description
We are painting our bedroom and hallway walls which are lath & plaster. Old wallpaper has been removed and walls will be prepped and sealed with oil base sealer. We then need someone to hang lining paper for us before we paint over the top. We want these rooms to be painted to match the rest of the house, but the plaster isn't in great condition so we believe lining paper is the best option. Work will need to be done in approx 2 weeks time. Bedroom is a square: 3.9mx 3.9m and hallway is 1.3 x 4.9m but there are 6 doors in this space. The hallway will have timber cornice added once lining paper is on, the bedroom won't.

Rod was really helpful with his advice and recommendations. He completed hanging the lining paper efficiently and did a really good job. We ended up getting him to do some extra painting on the day which he accommodated and I found his cost reasonable and also his finish really great. I will be calling PaintRod again for any other painting or decorating work needed.
