External House Painting
Job description
Looking to get two sides of our house painted and the entry. All the rest of the house has been completed but as parts of this area are just a bit higher than you can reach with a scaffold board approx 2m off the ground. (The house is single story on level ground - see photos) Ideally we would want someone with the equipment to reach the higher sections however we would consider an arrangement where we organised the scaffolding. The house is weatherboard and this work includes painting under the eaves, the barge boards, shingles and weatherboards. The paint is not in great condition in some areas so would need to be scraped/blasted or stripped(??) back in those locations. No need to paint the window frames as we can do these ourselves. We have all the paint already. Happy to meet to discuss the job.

We had a disaster. The painters level of competence was not up to our expectations, and we had to finish the work ourselves to get the standard we needed. We also had to fix a lot of issues (paint spray on windows, getters and roof). Btw- we did do some reference checking prior to the start of job.

"the home was very strees out he must have something worng with him and he does not no nothing about painting our building and he is very ill man and my worker had very bad problems as well and in the 25 plus years in the painting trade I have never had a problem like this and I have got home owners to back me up on this.
