Painting new kitchen and living room
Job description
I am having a new kitchen installed at the end of September and will have the kitchen and adjoining living room completely repainted, including ceilings. There will be some new gib which will require stopping and also existing gib with existing paint. There are also wooden windows, architraves, skirting and scotias. The painting will extend to the woodwork on the adjacent dining room but not the walls. That is a full paint of the kitchen and living rooms and woodwork only of the dining room. I would also like a few other paint jobs done around the house. The removal of the current kitchen is on Sept 25th and there will be gib removed and repairs done so at this point I don't have an exact start date for the painting, possibly later that week. Daine and Jeff were a great team to work with and pleasant to have around. They also did a great job. They were flexible with changes of plan, handled uncertainty well, fitted in with different stages of the overall job, and were good at problem solving. It was a great plus that they do their own plastering and make a great job of it, so I didn't have to organise a separate plasterer. They both did the work, not an option I could select.
