Caulk edges as required and paint ceilings white - 1 coat. I have a 15l pail of paint which will be more than enough. 3* bedrooms approximately 1* lounge/kitchen/hallway area All rooms have exposed beams on ceiling, a common 1920s style. Approximately 100m2 as bathroom/laundry to be excluded.
