Repair hallway light / switch connections

We have a light in the center of our hallway. There is a switch at either end of the hall to turn it on or off. One end no longer works and needs fixing. The plastic surround attaching the light to the ceiling is also broken making the light loose and difficult to change the bulb safely. This also requires fixing please.
