Installation of pendant lights

We require converting two downlights in our dining room into two pendant lights that can hang over the dining table. The downlights are slightly off the location we want the pendant lights to hang (in a little and to the side from position in photo), so we'd like the lights looped through a hook nearby to bring them into the desired drop location. An image of the pendants we will likely buy is included in attachments. Thanks!
