Install light in Attic

I've recently added a pull down attic ladder and flooring (battens done, about to lay plywood) to the attic space in the second floor of our townhouse. I 'm wanting some basic lighting installed to illuminate the space that ideally has a separate switch within reach as you climb up the ladder. There is wiring connecting bedrooms below in different areas of the attic, or the LED lights will be easy to access under plywood/pink bats by removing a few screws. I work from home a few days per week (typically Tuesdays or Thursday) so can around to let you and show space.
