Pendant Lights to replace x 4

We require 4 pendants to be replaced (we have the new lights), on inspection it seems the hole in our stipple (asbestos) ceiling that the wires come out may not be big enough to upfeed the excess pendant cord meaning a larger hole may be required - otherwise the cord may need shortened from the lamshade end (which we cannot figure out how to do)...
