Job description

Landscape Design
Selwyn

Our new house at Preston Downs, West Melton is almost finished and we need to landscape. The section is 3500 sqm but we are only working on landscaping approx the front third. We are trying to keep within a budget so are planning to do some of the work (eg tree planting) ourselves. The work we need done is - Moving a large pile of dirt (from the house foundation excavations and driveway construction), and forming it into a low mound (to be grassed) along the front of the section. - Working out exact size/area/quantities of lawn, soil, garden beds. - Preparing garden beds so they are ready for planting (currently covered in rough grass and weeds). - Preparing and seeding the lawn - hydro-seeding? - Down the back of the section there is a wet boggy area, we are hoping we can get a sump dug or some other way to improve drainage. - Other tasks may become apparent as we progress. We're wanting to get this work started as soon as possible and need someone who's committed to seeing the job through to completion in as short a timeframe as practical. If these sound like things you may be able to help with, we would love to hear from you...

Excellent job. Prompt and responsive communication. Remained flexible as we adjusted (chopped and changed) our plans on the fly. Easily worked around and assisted fencer digging post holes and Dad digging deck pile holes. Only issue is site not quite 'levelled' enough to prevent water from pooling off bund after heavy rain (25mm/overnight + 17mm over next few days!), but we'll solve it. Would happily recommend RJ Mac to others and likely to make use of their services in future.
