Replace lawn with gravel

I have a lawn that needs digging up; it's about 6m x 12m. I would like to use some sort of pea gravel to replace it. Edges are already in place (brick/concrete). Access to the site is narrow (about 95cm?). The soil is well drained and soft at the moment.
