Re-seat patio pavers

Job description

Landscape Design
North Shore

I bought a new house and the back yard patio area needs fixing up. The pavers were all wonky and didn't all sit flush with each other, possibly due to root growth underneath them, or due to being a bad DIY job. In addition, water pooled instead of flowing towards the drain area. I've lifted up most of the pavers and most of them are re-usable. In the future I will want to completely re-design this whole area, so for now I just want the pavers all nice and level and draining correctly. It's not a huge area and I won't want the work done until around March 2011. I'm not sure what is beneath the sand, so there may be drains/cables underneath which will need to be checked for before any digging commences.

Initially was very impressed with the cost, work ethic, speed and overall communication. Just needed to wait for the concrete to fully set so that the second stage of the job could be completed in January 2011. Unfortunately it proved impossible to arrange to get the second part done, and as I'd paid in advance this ended up costing me another $300 to pay a different company to complete the work. Overall the work that was completed is good, and the contractors were tidy, fast and polite, am just a bit disappointed at having to pay another company to finish the job.
