Spa deck
Job description
We need an area at the back of our section leveled, retained and a low deck constructed. A small retaining wall is needed along the boundary 300 - 400mm at the highest point. We would like to place a spa pool and an aluminum 3m pergola on the deck. So it it will need to be strong enough to support this. We would like the deck as low as possible to minimize the height. The area for the deck is around 4m x 4m ish. We are open to the idea of building the deck around a 2m square concrete pad for the spa. Some general dirt leveling and drainage as needed. Our neighbor is not interested in changing the fence so once it is completed we will attach 1.8m high bamboo screening to it. The trampoline will be removed prior to the job to another part of the property. The red line shows the front of the deck and the blue the retaining wall. The retaining wall will need to be 400mm away to comply with the building code etc. Images of the spa just to give some idea of what we are thinking. We do not want the spa sunken into the deck.
