Farm House Front Entry Makeover

Our front yard/front door area need a makeover! Your ideas and suggestions would be appreciated. The main things to do are: 1. Revitalise the garden along the house with new soil/compost. Install watering system. Planting - smallish evergreen shrubs with contrasting foliage colours. 2. Screen off (with planting and/or trellis) the septic tank area adjacent to the garage. Responses will be assessed on price and likely start date.
