Job description

Landscape Design
Manukau

Hi, We have a mostly flat back yard (back section of 1/2 share 882 square metres) but there is a slope (0.5-1m high) we would like to fix with a retaining wall and build a patio as an extension of our back deck. We would like to use the soil removed from this to fill 15m of raised garden beds which will run along the side of the house. We have a very messy scoria wall at the back boundary which we would like removed (and used at the bottom of the garden beds). There is also a large hedge we would like taken out but am unsure how this will affect the neighbours. We would like a timber fence built along the back. There are a lot of weeds at the back which we are trying to control but would like new grass back there. We haven't decided what to do with the front side (driveway side) of the deck, but perhaps extend our back deck around to meet the front door, but we would like some advice about this. If we do this we might re-do the whole deck. Our driveway is gravel. We would consider concreting it, depending on cost. We would like to make room for another carpark as well. We may have the fence built down the driveway side as well but doubt the neighbour (or the other lease holder) will contribute so this will also depend on cost. We would like to put up a trellis screen to disguise two ugly sheds, and plant a garden in front, with a climber of some sort. I have attached photos and a plan. Please let me know how much of this project you would be interested in taking on. This is our first home and we don’t want to spend a huge amount, however the quality of the retaining wall, patio and fence (and deck) is important to us. We would consider cheaper material (e.g. corrugated iron) for the raised garden bed. We have a 2 month old baby so ideally this would be complete before he is crawling around, but other than that there is no time pressure. Thanks, Steph

Terrible. Have left job incomplete and unstable. I regretfully paid in April and am unable to use what I paid for. Very disappointing as I wanted to support a local family business but have been taken for a huge ride. After news of a death in the family I stupidly gave them lots of leeway. At first I was assured I was a valued customer however, now, 2 months later, I am being blatantly ignored. No replies to my texts or phone calls. It would only take 1 day to finish the job. Hugely let down.
