Turf or hydroseed

I had to remove about 110sqm of my lawn to level it out. I now need to get the grass back. The grass around it is kikuyu which I realise you can't get in turf right now. I see that I have two options, put down some different turf and then seed it with kikuyu or do a hydroseed kikuyu mix. I'm open to both but I am very keen to get things moving so we have grass again. Attached are two photos of the area. I am in waikanae beach with sandy soil.
