Front gardens and pots on new build home

We need help with really neat styled design of front gardens around path and front door of our newbuild. After a formal gardens sort of look with lines and layers....perhaps some lavender etc to soften ...but not too fixed. Love the muted tones. Not keen on flowers. Have tree lined driveway of olive trees and cream stucco new build home so to tie in with that sortove stylish have a variety of pots at front door which cohld be planted/tied in too. We can arrange all the planting etc ourselves just want a neat design and what type of plants grow well on south side of house shaded areas, doesn't get much direct sun. Can supply photos of house front and plans for scale etc to save anyone coming to site or feel free to visit if it's easier. Would like this plan done in next few weeks so we can get gardens prepped for spring planting. Can't wait for some inspiration :)
